What is HomewatchIQ?

HomewatchIQ is an AI-powered operations platform built for home watch companies. It covers the whole business: inspections and route scheduling, billing and invoicing, sales and proposals, homeowner communication, and a branded lead-capture widget for your website — all under your own white-label branding, with your own domain if you set one up.

Five AI team members work alongside you: Marcus for field inspection and training, Maya for billing and invoicing, Sam for sales and proposals, Aria as the homeowner concierge, and Rory for platform and scheduling.

How lead capture works

  1. You embed a short widget code on your website
  2. A homeowner visits your site and completes a short vulnerability assessment
  3. You receive an instant lead notification with their name, email, phone, address, and risk score
  4. The homeowner receives a branded professional Home Vulnerability Report by email

Setting up your account

Step 1 — Complete the onboarding wizard

After signing up, you will be taken through a 7-step onboarding wizard: Company Profile, Branding, White Label Domain, Add Your Team, Pricing Plans, Social Links, and Proposals. You can revisit it any time from Settings → Setup Wizard.

Step 2 — Add your logo and brand colors

Go to Settings → White Label Branding to upload your company logo and set your primary brand color. These will appear on all homeowner reports, proposals, and documents.

Step 3 — Set up your custom domain (optional)

From the same White Label Branding settings, you can point your own domain at everything homeowners and vendors see — reports, proposals, documents, and both portals. See the Custom Domain article for the full setup steps.

Step 4 — Get your embed code

Find your widget embed code in the dashboard and paste it into your website before the closing </body> tag.

Step 5 — Test your widget

Visit your website and complete a test assessment to make sure everything is working correctly. You will receive a lead notification and the test homeowner will receive a branded report.

Tip: Use a personal email address for your test so you can see exactly what the homeowner experience looks like.

Where does the widget work?

The HomewatchIQ widget works on any website platform including WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Webflow, Weebly, and any custom-coded website. If it has a </body> tag, the widget works.

How long does setup take?

Most companies are live within the day. If you purchase the optional setup service, our team will install the widget and configure your branding for you.
